All right, welcome back to the game everyone! The Lions are set to receive the ball, and they're going to take a knee. And...oh shit, the Lions just got picked off. Are we going to see a changing of the tides here? Well, let's just wait and see. The second half is usually where we see one team pick up more momentum, or the momentum swings over to the other team.
Okay, Tony Romo just got sacked and it's 4th down for the Cowboys now. Field goal attempt coming up and...nope, not even close. Dang, that really sucks for the Cowboys, and the Lions will get the ball back after that unfortunate interception.
Sorry I haven't been writing for a bit...the Lions are up 13 points now, and the momentum of the game seems to be back in the Lions' favor. So the score is currently 20-7, and these Cowboys are really digging themselves into a deep hole.
The Cowboys are going to start at their own 20 yard line, and I'm getting a little sick of watching them right now. Sure, I want Detroit to win, but I was also hoping for a better game. Okay, so 2nd and 10 for the Cowboys now with the ball at midfield, and...gain of 40! Dez Bryant or whatever his name is just missed the touchdown...down inside the 10. Okay, so Dallas got a touchdown, but there's a penalty on them for offensive holding so the touchdown is reversed. That was really stupid of them...they had a chance to make it a six-point game, and instead they lost ten yards.
Okay, so the Cowboys are 4th and goal now, and great job by the Lions on a red zone stop. I think they're going to go for it...and, yep! The Cowboys scored a touchdown, so it's a one-score game now. What the heck, it's almost the end of the third quarter already? Dang, this second half is going by fast. So the Lions will get the ball back, and let's see if they can answer that last touchdown drive by Dallas.
Commercial break again.
